How AI guardrails roll out to your computers, step by step, with the least impact on your team. Delivered by Summit IT Partners, your IT provider, with Data Lab behind them.
We go slow on purpose. Your IT firm (Summit IT) reviews and approves the software first. Then we test it on 2 or 3 computers for one week. Only after that do we roll out to everyone, in two batches. Nothing goes on a computer without your approval and Summit IT knowing what it is.
Summit IT reviews and approves the software using the trust center docs.
Call with your IT. We open a shared Teams channel for fast answers.
Install on 2 to 3 computers. Confirm it works with all your current tools.
Batch 1: laptops. Batch 2: workstations and production PCs tied to machinery.
AI Use Policy is adjusted from real data, then signed by all employees.
Orange tags are stop points. We do not move to the next step until Northfield says go.
This software has been tested alongside the leading MSP grade tools found on business computers: remote monitoring and management agents, endpoint protection and EDR, backup agents, patching tools, and remote support tools. The pilot week is our extra check that your exact mix works the same way.
Before anything is installed, we meet with Summit IT so they know exactly what is going on your computers. They get the full security package from our trust center: what the software is, what it collects, how it is signed, and the compliance reports. Access starts with a short NDA form.
2 or 3 computers for one full week. We confirm the software runs cleanly next to every tool already on the machine. We fix anything before touching another PC.
Laptops. These are the easiest to install and the easiest to roll back if needed. Installs happen during agreed windows.
Workstations and the production computers connected to machinery. These go last, with Summit IT on the call, during planned downtime only.
A policy written blind is a guess. After one week of full deployment we know which AI tools your people really use. We adjust the policy to match: approve the safe tools, block the risky ones, set clear rules for the rest. Then it is finalized, shared, and signed.
